Ethereum’s London hard fork is an update to the Ethereum blockchain and is expected to happen at block height 12,965,000, at approximately 05:30 PM (IST) on August 5, 2021. The countdown timer can be accessed here.
Giottus is well prepared to handle the changes to the Ethereum infrastructure. We will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals of ERC based coins/tokens starting 04:00 PM (IST) on August 5, 2021. Trading of ERC based coins/tokens will continue to be available within our platform. Users are encouraged to ensure all deposits and withdrawals are processed before the time of suspension.
We will reopen deposits and withdrawals when the update is successful and stable. A further announcement will be made to confirm the above.
